Pro-Life Laws in South Carolina
Since 1990, the South Carolina General Assembly has
passed seven life-protecting laws, including the ban on
physician-assisted suicide. Corresponding to the enactment of pro-life
laws is a 50
percent decline in the number of abortions occurring in South
